Structured goal setting
The first session produces one goal, written down, in language specific enough that someone who does not know you could tell whether you reached it. Not a direction, not a value, not a feeling. A sentence with a measure and a date in it.
This takes longer than people expect. Most goals arrive as a mood and leave as a sentence, and the rewriting is where a lot of the useful thinking happens. There is a short piece on the mechanics of it in write the goal so a stranger could check it.
