Programs

Three ways to work, and one method underneath all of them

The approach does not change between programs. What changes is who is in the room, how often you meet, and what you are willing to spend. Read the one that matches your situation and ignore the others.

One person

One to one coaching

A three or six month engagement built around a single objective that matters to you and has stopped moving on its own. Fortnightly sixty minute sessions, written commitments in between, a written review at the midpoint and the end.

From $250 per session

Eight people

The group program

Eight weeks, one ninety minute session a week, capped at eight participants and never opened wider. You bring your own goal. The other seven are the reason you keep going after week three.

$1,200 for eight weeks

One team

Team workshops

A half day for a team that has changed shape, inherited a new remit, or been talking around the same decision for a quarter. Everyone leaves with a named commitment and a date.

Choosing

Which one is yours

  • The goal is specific and personal Take one to one coaching. A goal with real detail in it needs an hour of undivided attention, not a share of one.
  • You start well and stop quietly Take the group program. Seven other people asking how the week went is a stronger mechanism than any amount of resolve.
  • The problem belongs to a team, not a person Book a half day workshop. Coaching one member of a stuck team rarely moves the team.
  • You are not sure yet Say so on the contact page. Half the calls that come in end with a recommendation to do something cheaper than what was asked about.

Common to all three

Goals in writing

If it is not written down in a form someone else could check, it is not a goal yet. There is a short piece on how to write one.

A fixed cadence

Sessions are scheduled for the whole engagement on day one. No rolling arrangement, no drift.

Accountability between

The commitments you make in a session are the first thing raised in the next one.

Honest measurement

Progress is stated as a number or a date wherever it can be. Motion is not progress.

Not sure which one fits

The thirty minute call exists for exactly this. Describe the situation and you will get a recommendation, including the recommendation to do nothing yet if that is the honest answer.
